Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Foundation Year 2 Doctor to join our medical team. Responsibilities
- Assist in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients under supervision
- Participate in ward rounds, clinics, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Document patient histories, examination findings, and treatment plans accurately
- Support senior doctors in emergency situations and routine procedures
- Contribute to patient safety initiatives and adhere to clinical governance standards
- Engage in teaching and training activities for junior staff and medical students where appropriate
- Maintain clear, professional communication with patients, families, and colleagues
Requirements
- Fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a valid UK medical licence
- Completion of Foundation Year 1 or equivalent experience in a recognised healthcare setting
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Demonstrated understanding of early childhood education principles is advantageous for roles involving paediatric care
- Experience or interest in behaviour management strategies relevant to patient care or teaching roles is desirable
- Proven ability to teach and support junior colleagues or students is preferred
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and adapt to fast-paced environments
